Blue:
Communication, travel, inspiration, calm, creativity, forgiveness
Light blue will hold the "softer" sides of the color (patience, calm, etcetera)
Black:
Banishing negative forces, protection
Brown:
Home protection, animals, stability, family, material goods
Gold:
This description is for metallic gold candles. See yellow for non-metallic gold.
Wealth, masculinity, luck, power, the sun.
Gray:
Stabilizing, neutralizing, middle ground, mediation
Green:
Nature, physical, healing, money, growth, fertility
Orange:
Business, success, justice, opportunity, celebration, ambition
Pink:
Romantic love, emotional healing, friendship, caring, nurturing, self love
Purple:
Influence, psychic abilities, wisdom, authority, hidden knowledge
Lighter shades of purple will offer a calmer version of the energy. For example, purple is for wisdom. I would use a purple candle if I was seeking information on how to heal or quell heightened emotion.
Red:
Vital energy, strength, passion, courage, fast action, lust, charisma
Darker versions of red (maroon for example) will offer a stable & grounded version of the energy.
Silver:
Intuition, dreams, femininity, the moon.
Yellow:
Intelligence, learning, reason, focus, memory, joy, comfort, hope
Richer versions of yellow (mustard or gold - not metallic) can be used for prosperity.
White:
Spirituality, peace, higher self, purity, substitution for other colors.
